Project Intern

A Centre for Everything is looking for a project intern to work on developing and implementing an artist-run symposium on the intersection between activism and art.

Held from 30 April - 7 May 2017 as part of ART + CLIMATE = CHANGE festival and supported by the City of Yarra, the symposium will feature workshops, discussions, meals and activities with and exciting line up (TBA shortly) of leading local and international artist-activists working at the forefront of creative campaigns, political art, art for social (as well as institutional, systemic and political) change.

We are looking for somebody to work with us (Will Foster & Gabrielle de Vietri) approximately one day per week from late January to help research, prepare and run this symposium.

The ideal applicant has sound research, organisation and communication skills, a strong interest in ethics, politics and contemporary art, and a demonstrated commitment to unconventional forms of political and artistic intervention.

While this is essentially a volunteer role, we are able to offer a modest honorarium.

Please apply by email: info at acentreforeverything dot com
Please include a short CV, 3-5 images or links to previous work (or similar), and a short statement introducing yourself and why you want to work with us on ART / POLITICS / ACTION.

If you would like further information, please call Gabrielle on 0422741940 or email us at info at acentreforeverything dot com

Applications close January 12
